COVID-19 Safety Measures

While the majority of COVID restrictions have now been lifted in Scotland, the health and safety of our attendees is our highest priority, so all guests at Behavioural Design Fest 2021 are required to adhere to the following policy.  Please always bear in mind the safety and comfort of your fellow guests at the event.  We want everyone to feel confident and happy within the venue so that we can all once again enjoy the energy, excitement, inspiration and connection that is only possible with a real-life gathering.

Proof of status

Each attendee at Behavioural Design Fest 2021 is required to have ONE of the following:

  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination both doses received at least 14 days before entry; [OR]

  • Proof of a negative NHS COVID-19 Lateral Flow Device (LFD) taken within 48 hours before entry; [OR]

  • Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days before entry (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).

Social distancing

There is no longer a legal requirement to distance yourselves 2m from others but we would encourage you to keep this distance as much as possible so that everyone is comfortable in the event environment.

Face coverings

Face coverings must be worn at all times while moving around the room, you may remove your mask when seated.

Hygiene

We have implemented enhanced cleaning schedules to keep everyone as safe as possible and have regularly sanitised surfaces, seating and contact points. Hand sanitising stations are prominently located throughout the building. Please use them when arriving and leaving the venue, and as you wish throughout your visit. If you have accessibility needs, please ask a member of staff for assistance.

Ventilation system

The venue ventilation system is brand new and the entire volume of air replaced with fresh air six times every hour inside the auditorium and in the foyers. Therefore, the auditorium may be slightly cooler than usual due to the increased ventilation.

Do not come to the event if you have COVID -19 symptoms or have been advised to isolate by NHS Test, Trace & Protect teams during the time of your visit.  You must not visit if you have had a positive COVID test within 10 days and should isolate immediately.

Variance of these rules
