Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 at Crossbasket Castle. Before you proceed to purchase tickets, we require you to read the following terms and conditions:

  • In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, and ‘purchaser’ will refer to you – the person who will buy the tickets to the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022. On the other hand, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’, 'organiser' and similar terms will indicate the organisers of the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 – Revolutionise International Ltd.

  • By opting to purchase, allocate or possess tickets to The Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you do not agree with any of the clauses listed below or do not agree with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not purchase tickets or try to enter the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 premises.

  • The price of the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets are listed here - https://www.revolutionise.com/event-details/festival-of-great-creative-thinking. The figures are non-negotiable. Prices listed are inclusive of VAT (if VAT is applicable) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings in respect of which we have already sent you a Booking Confirmation, except in cases of obvious error.

  • We reserve the right, from time to time, to run special promotional offers on events. Special offers may include, but are not limited to, price promotions. In the event of a special offer, additional terms and conditions may apply which will be made available at the time of booking. We are unable to backdate special offers or price promotions, if you purchased a ticket before the offer came into effect.

  • After making a booking you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your booking request. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Booking Confirmation and receive full payment. Should there be a limited number of places at each event these will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings. 

  • The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access Crossbasket Castle on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and/or 15 September 2022, when The Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 is scheduled to be hosted, depending on whether you have purchased a full 3-day pass or a half/full-day ticket. The license includes the revocable right to attend the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022.

  • Kindly note that https://www.revolutionise.com is the sole authorised source for purchasing the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets. If you obtain your ticket(s) from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The issuer has the right to dishonour tickets from unauthorised sources and declare them as void.

  • The Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets delivered to you are not meant to be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You cannot use the ticket(s) for any promotional/advertising purposes either (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

  • Please note that the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.

  • Cancellations/refunds
    If the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 is cancelled by the organiser due to any unforeseen circumstances (including COVID-related legislation) we will reschedule for another date and your ticket will automatically be valid for the new date. Refunds will not be issued in this scenario.

    If you are unable to attend and need to cancel a booking you have made, let us know in advance and in writing by email to events@revolutionise.com. Refunds will not be issued in this scenario, but you will be able to defer your place as credit for a future Revolutionise event (dates TBC) with the following admin charges depending on when you cancel:

    • For attendee cancellations up to 11:59 BST on 30 June 2022, a £50 admin fee will be deducted from the original amount you paid

    • For attendee cancellations between 00:00 BST on 1 July 2022 and 11:59 BST on 5 September 2022, a £100 admin fee will be deducted from the original amount you paid

    • For attendee cancellations after 00:00 BST on 6 September 2022, or for failure to attend the conference, no credit will be granted for future events.

  • Event code of conduct
    The Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 and Revolutionise International Ltd reserve the right to refuse access to, or remove any delegate from any Revolutionise International Ltd event who, in our reasonable opinion has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of the other delegates, in our reasonable opinion is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or who behaves in a manner which may cause a breach of the peace. The Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 and Revolutionise International Ltd follow a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorised drug usage or carrying at the venue. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 and/or if you indulge in any objectionable action, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately – at the discretion of the organiser. Your event ticket(s) will become void from that point on.

  • Equality, diversity and inclusivity statement
    Revolutionise International Ltd is dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive event experience where everyone is treated with dignity, courtesy and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate bullying, intimidation, harassment or victimisation of event participants in any form. If you experience harassment, discrimination or a violation of any form whilst participating in a Revolutionise International Ltd event or activity, or if you are made aware that someone else may be affected by inappropriate behaviour, please let us know immediately by notifying a Revolutionise International Ltd representative at the event, or by contacting us at james.tennet@revolutionise.com. All reports will be treated in confidence. Please also refer to your own company's grievance and disciplinary procedures on how they handle complaints against members of staff as we may report any breach of these conditions to your employer.  

    Revolutionise International Ltd is working towards being fully inclusive. We endeavour to arrange events in fully accessible locations. However, we would appreciate your co-operation in meeting specific requirements and ask that you inform us immediately if you require additional facilities (for example a loop system, BSL interpretation, wheelchair access) or any other personal requirements. We may need to pass on information to a third party about your support requirements. If we are not able to reveal these details this may affect the accessibility arrangements we are able to provide. By submitting the booking form you agree to your support requirements being passed on to relevant third parties.

  • Data protection
    By purchasing the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets you give your consent to Revolutionise International Ltd to collect certain information about yourself (name, date of birth, gender, address, etc.) for verification and storage. 

    Your information will be held by Revolutionise International Ltd. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018, Revolutionise International Ltd is the data controller.

    Registrations for events are managed using a system operated by a third party under contract to Revolutionise International Ltd. Data, including personal data, will be processed and stored on systems managed by these third parties in accordance with our privacy policy. The privacy policy also sets out any other ways in which Revolutionise International Ltd may use your personal data.

    Where Revolutionise International Ltd contracts with additional third parties to provide events, we may also provide them with access to this data in order for them to fulfil their services to Revolutionise International Ltd.

    We will use your information for the administration of the event in question, to improve the services we provide and, unless you have chosen to opt out, to inform you via email of future Revolutionise International Ltd news, events and other relevant activity.

    You can choose to unsubscribe from Revolutionise International Ltd emails of this kind at any time by selecting this option at the bottom of emails, by emailing us directly at james.tennet@revolutionise.com or by writing to us: Revolutionise International Limited, The Inch, Fort Augustus, PH32 4BL. The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether Revolutionise International Ltd has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.


  • Recording disclaimer
    We often take photographs and videos at events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving us permission to use images and videos in which you may be present. In addition, these images and videos may be shared and stored on third-party platforms. Should you not wish to appear in any images and/or videos, please notify us at james.tennet@revolutionise.com or by notifying the Revolutionise International Ltd representative at the event.

  • Rights in materials
    All copyright and other rights (including all intellectual property rights) in materials provided to you during or for the purposes of any of our Events (including, without limitation, course notes, slides, brochures, articles or case studies) are the property of Revolutionise International Ltd or of our speakers. You are entitled to use such materials only for your own personal use. You are not entitled to copy such materials (except as permitted by law) nor are you entitled to use or authorise others to use such materials for any commercial purposes.

  • Our liability
    Revolutionise International Ltd does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.

    Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses.

    We will not be responsible to you or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data or goodwill) or any other loss or damage which does not result directly from our actions.

  • Our right to vary these terms and conditions
    Please note that Revolutionise International Ltd reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the website of the organiser (https://www.revolutionise.com/). These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 tickets.

  • Revolutionise International Ltd has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of the Festival of Great Creative Thinking 2022 ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any disputes or conflicts, the decision of Revolutionise International Ltd will be deemed final and binding (i.e., the issuer will remain the final arbiter in cases of disputes). Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Scotland shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any legal disputes.
