Michel Roux Jr Restaurant
The pearl in the crown at Crossbasket Castle just might be the onsite Michel Roux Jr Restaurant.
Originally overseen by the late legendary French chef Albert Roux, the establishment is now under the charge of his son Michel Roux Jr, and run by an award-winning executive head chef.
You may be used to event catering featuring bland buffets and cold coffee, but the culinary offering at Behavioural Design Fest 2022 couldn't be further from that. Instead, you should expect high-end fine dining using the very best of Scottish produce.
For lunch, we will dine together in opulent surroundings with dishes showcasing the very best of Scotland’s renowned natural larder, with an added touch of creative flair from the iconic Roux culinary dynasty.
This really will be a treat – and something everyone has most definitely earned after many months stuck at home!
The fantastic food is just one way we will be celebrating returning to real-life again, together.
Guests staying before or after the conference can also take the opportunity to dine in the main Michel Roux Jr Restaurant, located in the luxuriously embellished Baillie Room. Surrounded by gold leaf and opulent antiques, a lunch or dinner here provides an authentic experience of a bygone era.
Dining at Crossbasket Castle is a culinary experience that need not be confined to the dining room. There are lots of luxurious spots within the hotel that can accommodate more intimate, private dining, as well as various options for afternoon tea and al fresco dining.
You can find details of restaurant opening times and a wide variety of menus on the Crossbasket Castle website. Don't hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries about dining at Crossbasket Castle.
